Common Skin Problems in Men and Their Treatment

Each man’s skin is different from other. In this article, we want to introduce Common Skin Problems in Men and Their Treatment.

Why men and women skin is different?

The skin is the largest part of our body and protects us as the first barrier against external factors. The skin is exposed to chemicals, infections, cuts, scratches, and sunlight that can stimulate the formation of common skin problems in men. Men’s skin is thicker and harder than the skin of women.

Blade burn

Most men that shave their face experience this burning and causing rashes and blisters.

There are many ways to decrease these burning. One can mention the cleansing of the face before correction. This eliminates the hair trapped against the skin’s surface and thus makes it smoother.

Sun burning

This problem is more common in women because they use less sunscreen for their skin. About 44% of men agreed that they would never use sunscreen on their faces.

Men must use sunscreen every day. Sun can emit ultraviolet radiation at any time of the year. For example, 80 percent of the sun’s ultraviolet rays can penetrate human skin, even on cloudy days.

Testosterone production in men leads to an increase in fat secretion throughout the body. You can use helpful moisturizer. Men’s skin has a thicker epidermal layer compared with women and has larger pores that are more easily filled with contamination, and as a result, the appearance of acne can be one of the consequences of these conditions.

To reduce acne use of gentle cleansers is recommended on the face and body of the skin. This will eliminate excess acne.

Men’s can care their skin such using sunscreen and moist and hydrate their skin daily. If you have itching you can use antifungal and increase sweating. Follow this solution to reduce Common Skin Problems in Men and Their Treatment.

This is good to know! I always knew that men’s skin was different than female’s but not in this detail. I wish I could have my teenage stepson read this… but he is too consumed with the game Fortnite (rolling my eyes) to care about his skin.

Thanks for sharing… the problem with most men is they do not take care of their skin… they do not use the various skin aids available because it is not the socially “manly” thing to do… 🙂 while helping my late wife deal with cancer, it were a learning process for me..

I do not have that problem… I use a lip gloss when I venture outdoors with full sun for a extended period of time… I use Banana Boat sun screen.. I also use products designed for women to help with skin care, etc…. I know many, including family members, who have not taken care of their skin and they are having health issues as I speak… 🙂
